Visionox Started up AMOLED Mass Production Project

August 8, Visionox officially announced the launch of Amoled (Active matrix organic light emitting display) industrial project! Based on the Oled technology of Tsinghua University, Visionox includes the Beijing Visionox Technology Co., Ltd (Beijing Visionox Technology) which was established in 2001, and Kunshan Visionox Display Technology Co., Ltd (Kunshan Visionox Display) which was established in 2006. Visionox is planning to invest a 4.5G above Amoled production line which will go into operation in 2013. As the implementation of the project , Visionox became the first corporation in mainland China who had its own designed PMOled (passive matrix organic light emitting display) production line as well as Amoled production line. That can be called a milestone in Chinese Oled industry.

In order to achieve Amoled industrialization, Visionox started its preparations 2 years ago.  In September 2009, Kunshan Visionox Display set up a new corporation called Kunshan New Flat Panel Display Technology Center (KSFPD) by jointed with Kunshan Industrial Technology Research Institute, and completed the Chinese first AMOled pilot production line at the same year. In December 2010, KSFPD made a success in the field of LTPS TFT (low temperature polysilicon thin film transistor) which could be used in Amoled and achieved integration of LTPS TFT backplane and Oled technology. Based on these developments, 2.8-inch color Amoled display was developed. In July 2011, with the support of Kunshan government, Kunshan Visionox Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (Kunshan Visionox Optoelectronics) was established to build AMOled mass production line. That indicated Visionox officially stepped into Amoled mass production line.
